Hoop earrings are among those items which constantly pop up in our memories, appearing in jewellery boxes belonging to our mothers and grandmothers, and in family photos. With us during our childhood and teens, they never leave our side. We offer a small sample here: photos of women from any decade wearing hoop earrings are easy to find.
The advantage of the hoop earring lies in its design. Its simplicity makes it highly versatile. The purer amd more simple the design, the more timeless it becomes.
Perfect for any occasion, they look good when combined with both casual and more elegant styles. The silver pieces have a more casual look, while the gold finish adds a more sophisticated touch. At La Gata Loca we offer both finishes. Our models are available in silver and gold-plate. Gold is now totally in, but nor has silver moved aside.
Truly classic models have become the latest fashion. Traditional models, made of yellow gold, smooth and medium-sized. The forever earring. These are our favourites and our workshop produces three collections featuring pendants.
One line with tiny silver and gold charms: crescent moons and stars in asymmetrical pairs, swallows, feathers....Classics from our workshop.
Another piece that is always with us is the hoop with a gemstone pendant. Choose a pair from aquamarine, labradorite and amethyst. A natural balanced combination. Our collection of hoops with pearls is an essential: eternal, feminine and flattering.
The last of our own designs is the ethnic-style hoop, with coins, cotton pompoms, pearls and gemstones. Jewellery which brings travel and distant cultures to mind.

If you´re looking for something different to the classic hoop, choose hoops with irregular shapes, such as this star-shaped model; or chain link hoops, available in differents lengths. This dual-hoop earring combines the simplicity of the geometric piece, the movement of the interlinked hoop and the formality of a classic piece. A must.
